By buying one of our COP26 products not only will you be doing your bit for the environment and own a piece of history but you will also be helping empower women back in to employment and raise money for charity.

Not everyone can work full time and for lots of women part time work is also impossible.  There is a variety of reasons such as mental health issues, being single mums, domestic abuse, being a carer for a disabled family amongst many other reasons.  Here at Calluna Upcycling we offer complete flexible working for local women. They can take as much or as little fabric as they like and make products they are comfortable with.  There is no minimum amount required for them or deadlines to meet.  This offers our women the ability to work in the comfort of their own house (or at our hub) whenever they are able to.  Our sewers are paid by product and payment is based on the living wage.  Our hub also offers them training and the chance for them to new skills to help them grow in confidence.
